Investors Sue Sunwest
Sunwest Management has had a lawsuit filed against their company for breach of contract, fraud, professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and much more. Sunwest Management controls over 400 limited liability companies and 250 nursing homes serving over 18,000 residents of those nursing homes. A couple is filing the lawsuit against Sunwest Management. That couple is Wilfred Scott Doyle and Patricia Scott Doyle. They invested over $6 million in the company and filed the lawsuit against the company in federal court in the state of Oregon. The couple filed their lawsuit against the company one day before its owner, Jon Harder, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in court.
The couple invested over $6 million of their money in Sunwest properties and not the company itself. The lawsuit they have filed is seeking damages for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
